Join us for this year’s series of Spectator Wine School masterclasses, held in the boardroom at 22 Old Queen Street in association with Private Cellar.
Expert guidance will be offered by Private Cellar’s Laura Taylor and Jonathan Ray, The Spectator’s drinks editor, with readers enjoying a welcome aperitif and a minimum of six tasting wines each session.

Bordeaux Masterclass, Thursday 2 May 2024 - SOLD OUT
There’s nowhere to touch Bordeaux for prestige and we will learn how the region’s history and geography have made it the world’s leading wine region. We will start in the Left Bank, where Cabernet is king, before dipping into the Right Bank, where Merlot reigns, as well as tasting dry whites and sweet whites and discussing how best to buy en primeur.
