Winning words announced - Pol Roger x Heath cartoon competition

Thank you to the hundreds of readers who took part in our recent Pol Roger words competition.

We are delighted to announce the two new winning words for 2025, chosen by the team at Pol Roger, are AcroPOLis and POLý kalá (meaning ‘very well’ in Greek) and they will now be drawn by Spectator cartoonist Michael Heath to be printed in the magazine. Congratulations to all who came up with those words, the winners of the magnums however have been as selected at random (as per the terms and conditions) as H. Tomes and D. Sunray - congratulations!
