Advice is also given on the best way to drink different wines and how to host an unforgettable wine-led dinner.
The second half of the book focuses on food and features 100 dishes created by Marcus Verberne. The chapters are categorised into: Sea and River, Land, Garden and Sweet. The recipes range from classics such as cassoulet de Toulouse, to the Asian-inspired Thai octopus salad, to the unusual saffron-poached apricot and almond tart with Roquefort ice cream.
