Showcasing both this country’s rich cheese-making heritage along with the finest European creations, Slate Cheese Club offers the opportunity to treat yourself to a themed selection of artisan cheeses and complementary crackers, lovingly chosen, carefully packaged and delivered direct to your door.

Whether you’re a cheese connoisseur or keen to learn more, you can enjoy a monthly delivery of exceptional award-winning cheeses celebrating the season’s most special offerings with full tasting notes about how and where the cheeses are made.

Slate is a specialist cheese retailer with shops in Aldeburgh and Southwold, Suffolk. Both stores offer a stunning range of British and European artisan cheeses, displayed as a magnificent wall of cheese. The family business is led by Clare Jackson and her father John Ormerod, who have long cherished the Suffolk coast as holidaymakers. In 2017, the draw of the sea and a shared obsession with cheese spurred the pair to follow their dreams and launch Slate.

The artisan cheeses at Slate are all crafted using treasured and traditional methods and recipes.  So, whether you enjoy the deep, bold and tangy flavours of hard cheese or rich and creamy soft cheeses with a delightfully gooey middle, Slate has an exquisite collection of mouth-watering choices to treat your tastebuds.

The company runs a popular cheese club offering a monthly subscription box packed with a carefully selected trio of delicious cheeses and artisan crackers, together with detailed tasting notes and tips for pairing with food and drink. For more information visit:
